On March 26th ASG was approached by one of our customers who is also a member of the CT National Guard. The CT National Guard was setting up temporary field hospitals to support the pending increase in COVID19 cases in CT. With the high number of cases in our neighboring states, Connecticut was starting to prepare for the same volume. Temporary portable tents were setup at various Hospitals across the state.
The CT National Guard needed a replacement power cable which connected the generators to provide power for the field hospital. They took some photos of an existing cable which ASG was able to reverse engineer a parts list to make up the cable. We found parts at various suppliers, had them flown in and provided the completed cable on March 31st to meet there quick set up date of April 1st .
The Guard was very pleased with ASG’s quick turn around and quality of the cable. Some times you don’t know where or when the next opportunity will happen. ASG was ready and proud to serve.
