I am often asked, “what does ASG do and what makes us different from any other contract manufacturing (CM) house?”. My answer is, we are not a typical CM. Sure we start with a customer’s design at some level of completion, but we complete it, make it manufacturable, test it, certify to UL508A and provide a full as-built documentation package as required. CM is a very broad area, our competency is with manufacturing of Automation Systems requiring both power and data communications controls, using HMI’s, PLC’s, Servo’s, & Drives, plus the cabling.
Having HESCO as our parent company gives us access to Rockwell Automation and many other technical products to incorporate into our customer’s designs. Our expertise does not stop with Rockwell Automation, we also build many systems with Emerson Control Wave products and others. We are expanding our operation to handle more full assembly of automation manufacturing cells and test stands that incorporate robots, vision systems, controls and wiring. We are not an Integrator, however when programming, field wiring or start-up is required we have partners and can offer turn-key solutions.
We also send our technicians out to do field installation or assembly work. With technology improvements happening daily, we constantly explore new services. Because our team has the experience, creativity, and tenacity for achievement, our customers count on us to be their business partners.
